Pain in back side of upper teeth and cavity, Is this done by filling or I go for root canal treatment please suggest me.

Di have any lingering pain when you eat anything hot or cold? Have you ever experienced spontaneous pain or so much pain that you took painkillers? Tap on your affected to and see if the tooth hurts. If all these answer Yes you need RCT ( an x ray would give a more clear picture).
You could also have pain while eating due to food enlodgement but that necessarily would not mean you require An RCT!

Filling & Root Canal both can be the option which can be decided only after X-ray , which will show the extent of caries if it has reached to your nerve/pulp of teeth Root canal is the option, if it’s superficial it will go for filling .

Good evening. Kindly visit your dentist without any delay when you are having pain. Also please don't take repeated pain killers to subside pain. That's not advisable. Get a x ray done and consult your dentist regarding management of that tooth.

Hi,
The picture clearly shows a decay. From the picture, it will be difficult to tell if you require a filling or a Root canal treatment. Looks like a filling might be sufficient. I suggest you meet a dentist and get an RVG x-ray to know the extent of the tooth decay.

If pain is there, then most probably RCT is required.
Visit a local dentist for physical evaluation, x ray and treatment (as required).

The treatment would depend upon the clinical symptoms and the extent of the cavity as revealed by the XRAY/IOPAR.
If you are having sensitivity to hot and sweet foodstuffs, and /or pain after biting or during chewing, it is an indication to go forward with a ROOT CANAL TREATMENT followed by a cap in the concerned tooth. This should be correlated with radiographic analysis for knowing the cavity depth-if it has reached the centre of the tooth-the pulp or is very close to it, go forward with RCT immediately .
If there is sensitivity to cold foodstuffs only, and the radiograph reveals the cavity to be away from the pulp, a restoration/ filling would be fine.
Next Steps
Get an IOPAR of the concerned tooth done. Visit a good endodontist nearby to get your clinical symptoms and XRAY evaluated and correlated to progress with the necessary treatment.
