Cavity in molar
My 10 yr old nephew has a big cavity in his molar tooth, would it be advisable to extract it as it is a milk tooth or should we try to save it by doing root canal treatment?

Root canal can be done, but if the concerned tooth is grossly decayed , then extraction should be done followed by a space maintainer...

Root canal would be preferable if your dentist can save it.. extraction may affect eruption of permanent teeth..
