Have a cavity in a molar. Had done root canal but never for the cap done. Now the filling has come off and the cavity is exposed again. What would be my next options ?

Go for a permanent filling followed by a cap or a crown for sure otherwise it'll again come off.

Crown is always advisable after root canal as it not only restores the shape of tooth but also decreases chances of tooth breakage. If the filling has come out the tooth can be filled up again. Though I would advice you to get the cap/crown done for long term solution
