Sir, my wisdom tooth has not come well and there is a cavity in it. I have a lot of pain in that too.
Sir do I have to get my wisdom teeth removed?
If a tooth needs to be extracted, is it a painful process?
There is also a cavity in the tooth next to my wisdom tooth. Will that tooth also have to be removed, if not, will a cap be put in it?
Sir, is there any kind of risk in getting a wisdom tooth removed?
Is it an expensive process or if so how expensive is it?

Hello sir 🙏
Once you get pain in the wisdom tooth , you need to get it removed immediately. Medicines are temporary relief . Because of improper position of wisdom tooth , food has stuck between your wisdom tooth and next tooth , because of that cavity has started over there . so don't worry sir , first get your wisdom tooth removed and don't worry that is very normal and you don't feel any pain while removing as process is done under local anesthesia . After removal of wisdom tooth you need to be on medication for 3-5 days , after then you will be normal . After that your next tooth goes for root canal treatment and after that you will be absolutely fine sir . No need to worry about the treatment . Treatment is also affordable . This is very normal . soon visit your dentist and get your wisdom tooth extracted first , then go for root canal for the next tooth . stay happy and stay healthy
Next Steps
visit your dentist

Hello, good afternoon sir
As in your OPG it is very much clear that your wisdom tooth is not in its proper place and because of this it applies pressure to the adjunct teeth and it start damaging your second molar(which helps in chewing).
You need to go for surgical extraction for your wisdom teeth so that you can protect your second molar.
And the pain you are talking about is because of your wisdom tooth only.
Removal of teeth is completely done under anaesthesia.
There is no risk as such in removal of wisdom teeth.
And for your second molar you need to go for filling or RCT as depend on the condition.
The expense vary from place to place and off course dentist to dentist.
Basic range may vary between 3k to 8k.
The problem you are facing is a very common issue faced by majority, so no need to panic or be afraid. A simple surgical extraction procedure will be done to remove the wisdom tooth, which obviously would be painless, but would take a little time.
As for the adjoining tooth, a simple composite filling might be sufficient , although a clinical examination would be better for definitive treatment.
As for the cost, it will heavily depend on the dental surgeon (from 1500-3000)
Next Steps
Visit a nearby dentist ( who is experienced in wisdom teeth extraction) or a maxillo-facial surgeon (which will be costlier)
Health Tips
Wisdom tooth of upper arch, (immediately above the one that's causing you pain) will "supra-erupt" in a few years causing various issues. So that needs to be removed too
There is no space in your jaw for your wisdom tooth to erupt properly. Also it is decayed and causing you pain. It definitely needs a surgical extraction.
It will be a painless procedure done under local anesthesia.
The cost ranges between Rs.2500 to Rs.7000 depending on the difficulty of the procedure and the expertise of the surgeon.
There are certain risks involved which can be explained to you in detail by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
The cavity in the adjacent tooth can be managed by filling or RCT depending on the extent of decay. It does not need removal.
Next Steps
kindly visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for surgical extraction of your wisdom tooth.
