Carpel tunnel syndrome 6mon postpartum
I had delivery 7 months back. From past2 months i am suffering from tingling numbness and pain on my palms.
To mention I have pumped milk every 2 hours (day and night) like for 20min per session for almost 3 and half months as i have low milk supply and baby not latching.
I had an ultra sound done for the carpel tunnel syndrome and it is negative. From past 2 weeks symptoms increased and i am waking up with numb hands. doctor asked for NCS and In NCS the doctor told it is carpel tunnel syndrome.ultrasound says no swelling or inflammation, but ncs study show carpel tunnel. attaching the reports
Is there any other problem from the NCS reading apart from Carpel tunnel syndrome?
If it is carpel tunnel syndrome how serious is this, am very much worried as it may require surgery.

Carpel tunnel is a very common condition.
Its surgery is a day care procedure. You will be in and out of hospital within a day.
Consider surgery as best option if you have recurrence of symptoms or increase in symptoms.
Recovery rates are also good after surgery.

Please don’t worry. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is known to become more symptomatic during pregnancy and the post-pregnancy period, as the body undergoes many physiological changes during this time.
It is a positive sign that your symptoms are responding well to medication. Continuing observation and following the conservative management plan advised by your treating orthopaedician is the best approach for now.
Surgical treatment should only be considered if the symptoms become severe, recurrent, or begin to interfere significantly with your daily activities.
