The five most important things for a conception to happen include a healthy egg, a healthy sperm, a favourable uterus, functional Fallopian tubes and of course good overall physical and mental health. You have not mentioned anything about your tubes so I presume that they have been checked and are fine. Details of semen test and the fibroids are a little inadequate. Having said that, a couple of minor deviations in the form of borderline to low AMH (compromised ovarian reserve),abnormal semen parameters( unhealthy sperm) and fibroids (unfavourable uterus if the fibroids are big) along with failed IUI cycles does mean that you need to move on to the next step of treatment in the form of either laparoscopy and/or a couple of more IUI's. Even if you are not prepared there is a very realistic chance that you may need IVF. A word of caution here: Do not defer IVF for too long if your doctor is suggesting coz if you delay too much, you may lose out on that option as well. Keep all your options open and remember to a large extent "TIME" is one of the most important factors when it comes to infertility management.
