Cannot concentrate on studies
I am studying in mbbs and joined in 2014 but I am failing in mbbs upto 5 years and I cannot concentrate on studies and I feel tense in exams and I cannot memorize in exams I think my brain can't store more memory. I want to increase my memory power and I want to concentrate on studies but I don't have height that much but I want improve in my studies please help me to solve my problem

Hello practo user Memory and concentration can be improved upon by using some techniques such as technique of mnemonics, deep breathing exercises etc. Along with this, minimising the stress level also helps in improving concentration and memory. Try scheduling your day in such a manner that you take enough breaks in between the study hours to relax your mind. Maintain healthy eating and sleeping pattern. For better management of the symptoms try consulting a clinical psychologist who can teach of more strategies and techniques to overcome this issue. Your interest/aptitude for Medicine, any illness/ brain injury to rule out the possibility of any physical cause for memory loss, significant stressors/changes in your life etc required for understanding your problem better.
