Is a upper gastrointestinal cancer usually at an advanced stage when symptoms start showing up? Can it be missed in an upper GI endoscopy or USG abdomen? How common is it for it to be missed in these tests?

Some time missed in USG ABDOMEN, but it shows in CT SCAN THOREX and ABDOMEN.
