Hello human, thank you for reaching out! Sleeplessness is a very common problem and you needn’t be worried. To manage insomnia, we need to figure out what it is stemming from. The following questions are a good starting point: Has there been some major lifestyle change? Have you been under a lot of stress recently? Has there been any trauma in your recent past? Do you have any symptoms of anxiety or depression? If you find any trouble in trying to answer these questions, you may consult a psychologist for professional help. Till then, here are some general self-help tips: Devise a regular sleep schedule and abide by it Avoid any kind of screen time for an hour before bed Don’t take naps in the middle of the day Practice relaxation techniques Ensure your bedroom is dark, quiet and comfortable to sleep in Avoid alcohol and caffeine as they interfere with sleep cycles. If the problem persists, gets worse, or interferes with your daily functioning, feel free to book a session with me. Take care!
