Can I use betnovate at anus?
My anus border has a slight bulge and it pains while passing stool as that area stretches. It might be due to frequent washroom visits in the past few days. Can I use betnovate cream and coconut oil alternatively? When using betnovate it gives some relief...

Please stop self medication. Let's assume you have some mild fungal infection in the anus region. Using the steroid ointment can aggravate and make it worser. Also it can aggravate any infection if you have it!! Betnovate is not even prescribed for your condition madam. Kindly do the following .. you might be having fissure in ano. From what you are saying
Do the following for a week and review with me
1) take high fiber diet.
2) avoid spicy food and non vegetarian diet
3) use smuthcream instead of betvonate please
4) use dulcolex tablet before sleep if you are constipated .. if not constipated , use half tablet. That will be enough
5) sitz bath (most important step) get a large basin full with lukewarm water.. add 2 caps of savlon or Dettol or betadine solution. Add 4 teasspoon of rock salt. After passing motion or bath time. Sit in this basin for 10 to 15 mins morning afternoon and night ... Atleast 2 times.. but try to do it atleast 3 times a day or more..
Do this for a week
