Calorie count of Cashews and Pistachios
I am trying to lose weight. Right now my weight is 66 Kilos and my height is 5 feet. I aim to drop my weight to the sub-60 range. I have muesli for breakfast. I like to add cashews and pistachios to muesli. I was advised to not consume cashews and pistachios much as it will lead to calorie consumption. My questions- 1. Do cashews and pistachios lead to weight gain and calorie consumption? 2. If it is ok to add cashews and pistachios in my muesli during my weight loss journey, then how many cashews and pistachios is it ok to consume daily ?

They won't lead to weight gain if you eat in moderation and be physically active and also if all your reports suggest normalcy. A handful of mixed nuts daily can be eaten.

Only cashews & pistachios are not sufficient for weight mgmt. You need to make overall Lifestyle modifications & Dietary changes for your requirement. Take home cooked meals comprising all nutrients macros and micros. Take good fats, carbs n protein. Limit all processed preserved packaged and outside food completely. Stop hard drinks and smoking if any. Take good water intake of atleast 3-4 lit a day. Alongwith the dietary changes, lifestyle modifications must be done like Physical activity for atleast 1 hour, time discipline should be fixed for all meals and other activities.
