Calcification in liver
“I have a history of calcification in the liver noted on imaging. Previous CT scan (2022) showed small calcified foci in the liver, and my recent ultrasound mentioned small multiple   calcifications 3 mm size . I would like your opinion regarding the significance, cause, and whether any follow-up is required. Report attached , please advise

Calcified spots in liver usually occur due to healed infections like abscesses, T.b., etc. There is nothing to worry. Please share if you have any symptoms,  get liver function tests done and share results. Then I can guide you further.

Calcification  means dead part, not to worry.  In scan possibility of illiocoecal kochs need dtatail history for evening raise of body temp, lack of eating, weight loss. Etc etc etc
