Calcaneus fracture
I broke my left heel bone(calcaneus) on July 4.2017 .I was on plaster and After3 days when i went they removed my plaster and put cast and called me after 4 weeks..I was advised it would take 8-12 weeks to heal.. My question is when do I should ideally put weight.and after 4 weeks will i be allowed to wear boots or still have to be on cast.

Need to look at the x rays and ct films to decide when to allow weight bearing and cast can be replaced with a walker boot at 3 months but without seeing the patient and investigations difficult to advise.
