Burning feet from 5 years
I have been experiencing a severe burning sensation in both feet, usually starting in the evening and becoming much worse at night. The burning is sometimes so severe that I am unable to sleep properly and it is affecting my quality of life. I have consulted multiple doctors and was finally referred to a neurologist. I have undergone ECG, Echo, NCS/nerve conduction study, physical neurological examination, ferritin, iron profile, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D tests. All the reports were normal, and the neurologist said that there was no obvious nerve-related problem on examination. However, the exact cause of the burning could not be identified. The neurologist prescribed Cap Aton 300 mg to be taken daily at around 7 PM, but I have not noticed any improvement.
