Hi this is Dr Mathur, foot and ankle and joint replacement surgeon practicing in Delhi NCR. A clinical examination of your ankle along with a fresh weight bearing x ray AP and Lateral views would help find the cause of pain. X rays before the surgery would also be helpful.
