Breathlessness during sleep at night
My often gets breathlessness during sleeping at night. She struggles to breathe. She has been diagnosed with gallstones and has been advised for removal of gallbladder. Breathlessness happens quote often and she seems not able to breathe or finds hard to take her breath.

You didn't mention the age of your wife. You didn't mention whether she has been seen by a General Physician also.
Please consult a General Physician in your area for the assessment of her Cardio-respiratory reserve .
First she should be controlled as far as breathing difficulties are concerned.
Gall bladder surgery can wait.

You can take acute symptomatic treatment as follow as
1- Tab Montina -L 1 time per day for 3 day for Breathlessness.
Reason of the Breathlessness should be find out by complete history and test again.
Gall stone should be removed by first medication and then surgery if medicine will not help to cure that stone as size of stone is matter .
