Breastfeeding experience
My son earlier use to take milk from both breasts but as he turned out 3.5 month he started talking less time for breastfeeding. His birth weight was 2935 gms now 5700 gms. I am confused whether he gets proper milk that is hindmilk or not?

First empty the one breast then shift to baby another side. If he passes urine 5-6timrd a day and gaining weight then nothing to worry.

Hi, You are confused whether child is getting hindmilk or not Some babies will take only less time for feeding They will be able to get enough milk in that time Your baby's weight gain is adequate Along with that if baby is passing good amount of urine and at least one motion /day that means breast milk is adequate So regarding queri of hind milk whether baby is getting, I suggest that you start feeding  from same side, where you stopped, so next time

Your child's weight gain is fairly good. It should  double by this time, which he has already done.
