It has been 6 months after my ex girlfriend left me for our toxic relationship.I must mention here I was the toxic person who always used to blame her, scold her, fights with her over silly things. It was me who couldn't see the breakup was coming, although I always thought she is never gonna leave me.Whatever, the thing is that I am used to the new normal mode of life now,I am habituated to the pain, but suddenly I am feeling that the pain has increased more like 10x after 6 months, don't know why.I am just wanting to escape from everywhere, disappear from all of my circles,my friends,my family. I want that she never see me anywhere, she never hears my name, she never sees my account,my picture on social media,I just want to go to darkness, from where nobody can see me,nobody can save me.I also don't want to see any other girl, don't want to talk to any other girl,I just want that everybody leaves me,nobody cares for me.I want to sleep whole day. Why?all of these?why??

It looks like you feel guilty for taking her for granted when you two were together. Somewhere you felt that this relationship will last forever but the breakup was a shocker for you. It must be really hard for you to even digest that she has left you. You were left with a lot of pain n guilt but now it has increased a lot which is unbearable for you. It is natural to take time when a relationship ends abruptly. The fact that you do not want her to see you anywhere shows that how much you are feeling bad about so many things n regret doing that. I appreciate your courage n honesty to be able express here n let me tell you that you are not alone in this.

Hi
It seems like you’re experiencing an intense emotional response tied to guilt, unresolved grief, and self-perception after the breakup. Initially, you may have numbed the pain, but as time passes, unprocessed emotions are resurfacing, intensifying your feelings. The desire to isolate yourself and sleep all day can be a sign of depression or emotional burnout, particularly as you grapple with self-blame and regret.
Your wish to “disappear” and cut off from everyone may stem from feeling unworthy of connection or love—a common response when dealing with unresolved guilt. It’s also natural to struggle with accepting the finality of a significant relationship, especially if you’re confronting the consequences of your actions in hindsight.
This is an important moment to seek help. You don’t have to face this alone. Therapy can provide you with a safe space to process your emotions, learn self-forgiveness, and rediscover your sense of self-worth. It’s okay to feel pain, but remember, isolation isn’t the answer.
Itâs completely valid to feel overwhelmed and confused by the sudden surge of emotions. These feelings show how deeply you care and are part of the healing process, even though they may be tough to handle. What you're feelingâa sudden increase in pain after monthsâis quite common. Sometimes, we get so used to living with pain that we push it aside to get through the day. But after a while, our mind and body canât hold it in anymore, and it all comes rushing back. That might be why your pain feels so much stronger now.
Your thoughts about wanting to isolate yourself, stay in darkness, or sleep all day could be signs of emotional exhaustion or even depression. Feeling disconnected from others might mean you're overwhelmed by unresolved emotions.
It seems like youâre trying to figure out why youâre feeling this way, and thatâs an important step. Your feelings could come from a mix of reasons:
1. Guilt or regret: Thinking about your role in the relationship might make you too hard on yourself.
2. Loss of identity: Relationships often become a big part of who we are, and losing one can make us feel lost or unsure about ourselves.
3. Unprocessed grief: A breakup is a kind of loss, and itâs normal to need time to work through that.
Healing takes time and kindness toward yourself. Talking to a psychologist can help you understand and process these feelings, let go of the guilt, and find purpose again. Reaching out for support isn't a weaknessâit's a brave step toward healing and moving forward.
Next Steps
Wanting to escape or isolate could be your mindâs way of handling emotions that feel too big to manage. While this reaction is understandable, facing these feelings in a safe space, like with a therapist is important. They can help you make sense of your emotions and support you in healing and moving forward.
Health Tips
1. Change your environment: Rearrange your space or spend time in a new location to create a fresh perspective. 2. Create a personal ritual: Develop a small, meaningful habit like lighting a candle, drawing, or meditating to reconnect with yourself. 3. Learn something new: Try a new hobby or skill to shift your focus and rebuild confidence in yourself.
You were able to cope up previously, but suddenly the reality must have struck and you are unable to cope up with it. What I see is apathy, lack of interest in everything due to failed relationship and depression. You have to be courageous enough to accept a failed relationship and come out of it gradually by reconnecting with your old positive habits and self.

Hi,
I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It seems like you're experiencing a deep sense of heartbreak and regret, which can often intensify over time, especially as the initial shock of a breakup fades and you're left to confront the emotional aftermath. The feelings you're describingâdesire to escape, overwhelming pain, and disconnection from othersâcan be signs of depression or profound sadness, particularly when mixed with guilt over past behaviors in the relationship. This might be a manifestation of unresolved feelings, such as remorse for how you treated your ex and the loss of what you once had. Itâs also common to feel a resurgence of emotions after a significant period of numbness as you begin to reflect on the relationship and its end. While it may feel tempting to isolate yourself, itâs crucial to reach out for support rather than withdrawing further. Talking to a trusted friend or seeking professional help, such as a therapist, can provide a safe space to process these emotions. Engaging in self-care activities and gradually re-establishing connections with supportive people can also help you navigate this difficult time. Remember, healing is a complex journey, and you donât have to go through it alone. There is hope for brighter days ahead.
I understand how painful a breakup can be, and it’s important to give yourself time to heal. Allow yourself to feel and process your emotions without judgment—they’re valid and a natural part of healing. Focus on self-care by maintaining healthy routines, reaching out to supportive friends or family, and engaging in activities that bring you comfort or joy. It’s okay to take things one step at a time; healing isn’t linear. If you feel overwhelmed, therapy can provide a safe space to explore your feelings and rediscover your sense of self. Remember, this is a phase, and with time, it will get better.
Dear concerned, It sounds like you're experiencing intense emotional pain and possibly symptoms of depression. You are entering a 'zone'. You need some tangible and intangible efforts to push yourself out of this zone. This should be guided by a friend/mentor/psychologist/counsellor.
After this, when you feel better, you can think about talking to other girls. She has already moved on, so what is the point of ruining life and being stuck up. When this feeling resonates within, you can take small next steps ! Goodluck 🙂
I must say that you are going through a rough phase of your life where being abondoned by a loved one is hurting you a lot. be mindful and initiate few activities of self care, assign a routine for yourself and try to calm down your thoughts by practicing mindfulness
