A detailed history is required to reach any conclusion if it is just the vitamin deficiency. In such cases it is best to have a consultation. Usually there might be other causes as well .

Thank you for sharing this—it sounds like you’re carrying a lot, and this experience must feel really disorienting and exhausting. From what you’ve described—morning memory fog, feeling disconnected, chronic headaches, cognitive difficulties, and the odd pattern of improvement after 7 p.m.—there could be a mix of physiological and psychological factors at play. Severe vitamin D and B12 deficiencies, especially if untreated for long, can absolutely impact cognitive functioning, cause brain fog, fatigue, and even mood changes like depression or anxiety. These deficiencies can also impact how your brain processes and stores memory. Since it’s been ongoing for 3 years, your body and brain may have adapted in unhelpful ways that now need more structured intervention. The other aspect worth exploring is whether you’re experiencing signs of atypical depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, or dissociative episodes—all of which can create that “out of control” feeling in your mind, and a marked difference in functioning depending on the time of day. This may also involve disrupted circadian rhythm or underlying anxiety that’s more active in the early part of the day. Treatment should include correcting your nutritional deficiencies with supplements under a doctor’s supervision, and also seeking therapy to work on emotional regulation, grounding techniques, and cognitive clarity. A neurologist’s opinion may help rule out any chronic neurocognitive condition, too. Take therapy, and you can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

Hi, I appreciate that you reached out with your concern. I understand that experiencing memory difficulties, constant headaches, and feeling mentally out of control can be distressing. Multiple factors could be contributing, including nutritional deficiencies, stress, anxiety, sleep disturbances, or neurological concerns. Since your tests show severe Vitamin D & B12 deficiency, low levels of these vitamins can affect memory, concentration, and overall brain function. Following your doctor’s prescribed supplements can help improve symptoms over time. Seek therapy for brain fog, forgetfulness, and headaches as it could be because of chronic stress or anxiety. Consider psychometric testing to know other co-morbidities. Practice grounding technique, Deep breathing. Following by mindfulness practices like mediation or Progressive muscle relaxation. This will help you to calm down your anxiety.
