Hello mam...           Yes, after braces treatment you have to go with retention appliance therapy to maintain the corrected tooth alignment ....          Duration of retainer appliance therapy is around 6months         If you fail to proceed with the retention appliance,the corrected alignment can be relapsed

Hello mam, after removing braces it's mandatory to wear a retainer to prevent from creating gaps... Kindly ask your orthodontist about the retainer and start wearing it, don't delay..
