Avoiding smoking will be beneficial for your gums and teeth as the depsoition of stains due to smoking would not be cleaned properly with braces on your teeth..The negative impact will be created on gum health and oral hygiene as for precise treatment avoiding these habits will be good.

Hi It's better not to smoke while ur wearing braces . Stains may accumulate on the wires and it might affect the hygiene . Regularly use mouth rinse and night brushing .

Smoking itself is harmful to you and your body. Braces and gum health are directly related with the outcome of the result. Smoking deposits a black soot on tooth which may not get cleaned properly due to braces which may affect your gum health. Better avoid and stop smoking
