Dear doctor , i walked into clini just to check BP as i was really tensed due to my son studies , when nurse checked my BP it came 140/90 an then after 5 mins i asked her to check again it came out 117/84..! is this normal pls tell me ....

It is normal Continue BP monitoring for 5 days and two times in a day continuously and consult with these readings

Usually bp is not checked immediately after walking Also manual bp measurement is mandatory the battery operated ones are not reliable in all cases

Kindly monitor your BP every day atleast twice...once in the morning and once evening preferably at the same time everyday either manually or electronically and note it down somewhere.After 3-5 days consult with me on practo app with the chart..will be able to guide you further. Restrict salt intake.
