BP medicine is suddenly not working
Telmisartan meds dont work from the begining although telvas 3d used to work well but let to ankle swelling...so stopped using it for telvas 20/twice and telvas 40 once...it did not work...later dr. prescribed moxovas 0.3 thrice which worked really well but after a month it has suddenly stopped working...what can be the reason... please provide solutions

Hi, BP control requires a careful escalation of medications with regular monitoring. For your age requiring this number of antihypertensives is slightly odd.

Please consult a General Physician in your area for a physical examination, a complete evaluation for the Cardiovascular system including ECG, 2D ECHO. Hypertension should not be treated in a haphazard manner. Apparently that's what is happening in your case.

The swelling is there, that means sodium is still high
Why don't u go with diuretics, instead of this medication, that reduces swelling also
There are the medications which are available other than this
