Bow legs can only be corrected either by prosthetics or by surgery
It can be congenital or sometimes it can occur due to vit D deficiency ( oesteomalacia)
Having bow legs could be hereditary or growth abnormality in your case
You need to get assessed by a orthopaedic or physiotherapist for a detail and proper evaluation . Only then it can be decided how to go about your treatment plan and what will work for you.
Hi....usually bow legs are congential means by birth...at age of 18 it may require surgical correction or even corrective splints or prostethics may also help depend upon the degree of bowing....u may consult orthopaedic surgeon on this....
Hi
Your age is less which might be a plus to correct your issue. As everyone said it might be congenital ( by birth ) or due a condition called Osteomalacia. But please don't loos your confidence and meet an Orthopaedic Surgeon for surgical correction or to get advised with proper prosthetics.
You do have a great aim and for that too , please be positive and confident.
All the very best for all your future endeavours.
Take care and stay safe .....
