Your history is incomplete. I need more history to evaluate. It would be better if you consult a doctor in person as he would properly examine you and if you are unable to walk, you can opt for home service.

This requires urgent medical evaluation today. Persistent hiccups with marked weakness, body pain and inability to walk in an 85-year-old can have several underlying causes, including metabolic, neurological, infectious or medication-related problems. Please do not manage this only with home remedies. He should be assessed urgently, particularly if there is confusion, difficulty speaking, facial/limb weakness, breathing difficulty, chest pain, vomiting or reduced consciousness. You may consult me on Practo, but given his inability to walk, an urgent in-person/emergency assessment is preferable.

Tab. Baclofen 5 mg – 1 tab at night × 3 days only after physician evaluation • Check renal function before use, especially at 85 years. Baclofen needs dose reduction in renal impairment.
