Blood pressure
Today my father checked his blood pressure..and it shows 146/90...till now he is not under any kind of medication..does he now require medicine due to high BP? Or we should take a little time to change  his diet and lifestyle.. Is there any way to avoid medication?

If this is the first time BP is recorded more than 140/ 80 I will suggest to check BP again twice at 10 days interval And then decide after consulting doctor. Till then life style modification and salt restricted diet.
