Bleeding gums
My bottom gums bleed whenever I brush and I kind of feel uneasy currently there isn't any visible pain just bleeding and a bit pain while brushing. I feel this started to happen after I used a paste of baking soda and water to brush my teeth. I am really worried.

Hi,    Don't worry it will be ok. Baking soda should not be used to brush your teeth. It's too harsh. Please check the following: - Does the gum in the problem area seem red and swollen? - Do you see any yellow, brown or black lining near the gum line.? - Is the gum in that area painful to touch? You may need some medication to heal the gums. Please consult online for medicines. In the meantime do the following: - Use a soft tooth brush. - Lukewarm salt water rinse thrice daily. - Any medicated mouthwash rinse twice daily.
Next Steps
Consult online
Health Tips
Please prefer a toothpaste over baking soda for healthy teeth. Photograph of the problem area helps to understand your query better.
