Black spots in armpit and groin
Hi Doctor, I am a 33-year-old male.  Height 5'11' and weight 95 kgs I have darkening/black patches in my armpits and groin for the last 2–3 years. Details: No itching, pain, or discharge No smoking or drinking habits Father has diabetes (on insulin). Mother has BP. I do not have any known health issues No recent weight gain No use of any new deodorants, shaving products, or creams My questions: 1. What could be the cause of this darkening? 2. Can this be treated and return to normal skin colour 3. Do I need any tests like blood sugar, thyroid, etc.? 4. Any creams or lifestyle changes recommended?
