Circular black spot in armpit itching

Asked for Male, 30 Years

Sir I am 30 years old male. Since few days I have noticed that some light black circles are appearing in my both armpits and the skin on that are smoother than the normal area of the armpit. The joining area inside my armpit is itching... This circles are growing day by day in the upper and lower side of the armpit...please suggests what to do I also have taken the picture of the affected area...

You may be having fungal infection under your armpits. The treatment is simple. You have to take anti fungal tablets and creams for few weeks following which it resolves. Do not apply soap on that area and do not self treat with over the counter steroid creams. Kindly send photos for accurate diagnosis or visit a dermatologist. If this is fungal infection, it needs to be treated as early as possible as it will spread further on your body and also to other people in the household.
