I am having biceps tendonitis from last 3 months. I have gone to sports injury hospital and Sitaram Bharti also, but the problem took two months to get diagnosed. I have been regular to gym from.last 7 years and it happened while doing pull ups. I have gone through IFT and ultra sonic along with wax heating for last 10 days but there is no relief. Being a fitness freak and having profession in the same field, it is very depressing that their is no guarantee of treatment. I don't have any pain in lifting around 5 kg and doing my daily worl, problem starts when I exercise with biceps. I have put myself on long rest too but pain subsidizes and comes back when I start exercising. Let me know if it is permanently curable or physiotherapy is just a pain reliever not killer? If yes, how long shall it take in my case?

Dear Sir,
I can understand your problem.
Biceps tendonitis in isolation should be treated conservatively.
If u have persistent problems, a detailed clinical examination by a shoulder specialist is recommended.
Physiotherapy treatment in tendinitis is guaranteed program but firstly stop all weight program and exercises.
Tk rest from this then do ultrasonic therapy on the area and hot fermentation.
Tk muscle relaxant medicine after food.
If u want permanent cure then following it.
Wax is not the Best Treatment for B T ,
SWD , Tens & Ultrasonic will be a Better Traetment Plan.
Also U hv to Give Proper Rest to ur Biceps Muscle for min two weeks along with trearment. Than only it will work.
If u keep on Stressing ur Muscle along the treatment. The treatment will not be so effective.
Some Medications can also be taken for better Results.
Good Luck Brother
