Don't use 10% Betadine for local application. It is too strong. You should use either Betadine 5% lotion or use Betadine ointment. You should take Sietz bath twice a day with Betadine 5% dissolved in a basin. You can take a pain killer in addition.

Pain may be because of infection. Is there any pus discharge? You need to visit your doctor physically or can consult online for queries
