Best practice for healthy gum and teeth?
Since this is the time when people prefer mostly outside food and do not have enough time to devote for their own body and health, can anyone suggest what should me the best few things to follow for healthy gums and strong teeth?

Hi.. You have a very good question there! Your answer lies in " Preventive Dentistry". Being careful before anything happens is WISE! Just BRUSHING twice a day ( not too hard as this will wear away your enamel and use a Soft tooth brush) and FLOSSING once a day .. will keep dental problems at bay! Add a Dental check up once a year and u are Safe! Best wishes

Not having enough time to devote to your own health can never be an explanation that will do anything good. We need to take out time for our own health otherwise we will be forced to take out a lot of more time for visit to doctors and hospitals. 1. Avoid outside Food (easier said than done) 2. Avoid sticky foods even if they are not sweet. 3. Avoid carbonated beverages as much as possible because they cause acidic decalcification. 4. Brush your teeth twice daily with modified Bass technique (you can check this on YouTube) along with cleaning the tongue with your toothbrush only and not using a tongue cleaner. 5. Maintain a good level of hydration 6. Eat fibrous foods like salads, and avoid munching in between meals. 7. Visit your dentist regularly so that the problems can be identified in initial stage and can be nipped in the bud. Regards.

-Everyone does brush in the morning , make sure to adapt to the habit of bed time brushing too which contributes a ton to prevention of decay . Do keep in mind the method of brushing matters here a lot , even if u are brushing lets consider a couple of times in a day but ur technique is not right u may end up in dental problems, while if ur technique is correct then just twice a day also does wonders . - don't give into high budget toothpastes and kitchen remedies u might end up using more abrasive harmful substances . Considering ur teeth and gums are healthy all u need is a proper cleansing regimen ... That's it -be cautious that u do not have food lodgement in between ur teeth , if u do then flossing is a must . - always rinse after having ur meals . - if possible avoid sweet intake if not always rinse thoroughly after having sweets . - an annual professional cleaning of teeth and gums is mandatory - acknowledging u with a fact -for ur teeth outside food and home food both are equal . As long as ur cleansing regime is wrong both will effect ur teeth equally .
Next Steps
Do consult ur doc to learn the right method of brushing ., trust me most of us here are unaware of it .
Health Tips
Eat till ur heart is content but never ever skip ur annual dental check up as ur teeth may Not always give u symptoms at the earliest About anything going wrong , once decayed will always be decayed, it can not heal by itself .
