Chlorhexidine mouth wash once in two days.. no mouth wash should be used continuously... It can lead to staining of teeth!
Warm saline rinses are best for your oral health... You can do these regularly and this doesn't have ant side effects..(conditions-you should be hypertensive)
Mouthwash :
Hexidine, once in every 3 days, after meal, directly 5-10 drops (maximum) in your mouth, hold for next 2-3 minutes, mouth will salivate automatically once mouthwash is held in mouth (so no need of external dilution with water), spit out and do not eat drink anything or rinse mouth for next 15-20 minutes. And brush off teeth thoroughly after 20 minutes.
Warm water salt gargle helpful.
The best solution for healthy gums is warm salt water. Commercially available mouthwashes are not meant for regular use unless prescribed otherwise. If you are keen on using one then water based mouth washes are usually recommended. Can be used twice daily for a certain prescribed period only.
Next Steps
Mouthwash alone is not the treatment for gum issues. It is used as an adjuvant to more definitive treatment.
