Let me tell you ocp doesnt have major side effects per se.In case of prior risk factors then it could pose a problem, in which case your gynaecologist will herself not prescribe you that.
You could go for low dose ocps , which have low hormones and this reduced side effects if any.
The other options could be a iucd , implants , injectables.

You can try intrauterine CuT for contraception from a nearby clinic
