You need to consult a Neurosurgeon for physical examination.based on the your history and physical examination findings and seeing the MRI films (not report) ,he we advise you whether it can be managed conservatively or needs surgery.but based only on the report mostly medical management will suffice

avoid lifting weights.avoid working in forward bending position.avoid sitting continuously for more than 30 mins.use a flat bed.bed rest for few weeks will help.try to lose weight if you are overweight
