Back pain with extensve pain in left leg
Pain in my left butt which extends to half of my leg. When this pain occurs i cant even move. Pain starts from back and extend to left leg as well sometimes. People and family are calling it as slip disc. When i keep on taking medicine there will be no pain and the day i stop medication within 2-3 days pain again starts. Please guide what should i do for this pain

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. It may be due to nerve compression in disc. When there is no pain do back muscle strengthening exercises. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury or buldge. Consult orthopaedic dr. Physiotheraphy might help.

From your history it looks like lumbar disc prolapse. If the symptoms are consistent better to get an MRI Lumbar spine

If symptoms are persistent, you will need to get a MRI of LS spine. Avoid bending forwards, lifting weight and driving. If disc prolapse consult a nearest spine or neurosurgeon or contact me.
