Hello there.... well you have mentioned your problem in a very brief manner...but there are certain questions i need to ask you? 1)did the pain start suddenly or you have a history of back pain? 2)did the pain start as a result of lifting something or you twisted yourself in a wrong way? 3)do you get pain even at rest? 4)is the pain constant or comes n goes 5)which movements of back are painful eg bending forward or sideways?? Right now i would advice you to stop any kind of massage or oil application immediately. Sometimes an oil/gel masaage infact aggrevates the existing pain. Get a Xray of your Lumbar spine in AP & Lateral position. These remedies would help your symptoms -OTC pain killers containing muscle relaxants -hot water formentation at home _Vector9 IFT 90 )for 20mins twice a day followed by Diathermy(SWD) Wear a Lumbar belt for timebeing if you have to travel on bike or sit for long duration. Do not perform exercises for your back till your pain is reduced. Do resort back to me in case of any trouble. Regards Take care.
