Back pain, not sure if it's slip disc
Hey i have been having back pain since past one year now, and I'm not exactly sure what happened to me or neither how to treat it, can you please confirm if its slip disc or anything else, I have attached my mri and please let me know how to diagnose it.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. --. Fomentation with warm water. Yes. It is a case of prolapsed disc. You need clinical examination to correlate the MRI findings. Get a consultation with any orthopedic/spine surgeon to confirm.

Hello, i am a practicing spine Surgeon. There are a few things, i would like to know, 1, is your pain radiating to any lower limbs? 2, are you able to walk atleast for a kilometer without resting? If answer for first question is no,and second question is yes then the treatment becomes simple.

Hello. As per the MRI report, there is disc prolapse at one level in lower back region. What other symptoms are you having apart from back pain. The treatment will depend on the severity of symptoms.
Next Steps
If the pain is acute at present, you should take complete bed rest for now.  Also, you can start with hot fomentation,  take analgesic with muscle relaxant tablet, calcium and vitamin d supplement.  
Health Tips
Avoid heavy work, avoid sitting down cross leg, avoid forward bending,  avoid stair climbing and descending.
