40 years age is young age . Need to see patient and Xray both . Need proper history too as it is not mentioned any history of trauma here . Compression fracture of vertebrae. No need of surgery for this. Rest for 6 weeks is sufficient for compression fracture Get MRI Lumbar spine to rule out nerve compressions
