If it is only back pain over the last few days with no other problems, then it is most likely muscular.
Take regular pain killers, take rest, use hot water bottle/hot fomentation, stay mobile and active. The pain will take time to improve.
Take care of your posture and stay mobile. Give it a few weeks to improve. If there is any pain going into legs or into buttocks then you will need to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon for examination and any investigations.
Hope this helps.
