Firstly I will recommend to the patient to take hot pack for primary relief , and then tell him to take stretching exercises (side flexion, epsilateral flexion of SCM muscle) with the help of his family members. It will give him relief. Along with this- I will suggest the patient to focus on his posture , his neck should be straight , his back should be supported with the pillow and should be straight. For the legs- I will suggest the patient to take hot packs in supine line, advise the patient not to stand and sit . His leg should be supported so he can be in supine line. Exercises ( calf stretching, hams and quads stretching) along with hot pack for 15 min.

Any electro therapy should be continued by stretching and strengthening exercises. When you have vertigo you are not supposed to do exercise. Once it subsides you have to start doing neck stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance. You should continue those exercises for 3-4 months regularly. You should avoid prolonged neck bending activities. You should take breaks in between your work for every one hour for atleast 2-3 minutes.

It is common to get nausea due to spinal issues. Many IT professionals and those who work in sitting position for long time will have cervical and lumbar issues. Only physiotherapy wont show any much difference untill you maintain your posture. Slight neck stretching and strengthening exercises need to be done daily. While on work take a break of atleast 8-10mins in an hour gap. Applying hot water fermentation twice a day will help relax muscles instantly. You need proper diagnosis for long term relief but as i said you need to maintain yourself for any improvement. Consult nearest physiotherapy clinic for at present condition and treatment or you can call me for online consultation as well.

Exercises are the key. There us no quick fix to a chronic problem as more areas would have compensated for the injured area. Look at whole body Exercises and look at low grade walking. Meanwhile let a physiotherapist supervise your progression.
