Baby fever sometime 102
Baby weight 7.6 and concentration of syrup is 120mg. My baby is getting fever on and off.sometime 102. Sometime no fever at all. Please suggest correct way of giving medication of syrup.

To sponging of body with lukewarm water whenever there is any fever. If fever crosses 100, you can give  5 ml of syrup paracetamol (120mg). You can repeat after 4 hours only if there is fever. Fever is produced by the body to fight infection  fever is not dangerous unless it crosses 104. So don't worry about a little fever

temperature charting. Gi e pcm whenever temperature is more than 99.5 f

If fever is not subsiding with paracetamol we will need to change the medication

Give 5 ml evry 6 th hrly for 3 days . Maintain hydration . Give small sips of water
