Now i am not feeling any pain just a small pain while uplifting the left leg. its on stage one and report was saying there is 15% nicrotic area you have in left hip. I did MRI in oct 2017 only and I am on homeopathic medicine since then. plz suggest.

We have a large series of patients with AVN treated in stages 1 to 3 with ESWT. The success rate is around 80 % Earlier you get it done it will recover fast and the bone will regenerate and you will not need any surgery We have long term results and patients are happy even after 10 years. Your life after a THR will be great, but a THR is reserved for AVN with femoral head changes only. If you habe a grade 1 AVN which is progressing, you can try bisphosphonates and core decompression. These are a must to prevent head form a collapse in the weight bearing areas.
Next Steps
Share MRI and X-rays.
