M an asthma patient. I was diagnosed as Brittle asthma in 2010 but have never been given any life long medication. Recently I came to know that lifelong precautionary medication is given to a Brittle Asthma patient. I have had around 5-6 severe episodes in last 10 years in which I had to be taken to hospital for giving oxygen or for nebulization.
I have got a few tests repeated. My IgE level is 146. What does this show? Should I do some other test to confirm If m actually brittle Asthmatic.
