Ayurvedic medicine for a disease is to be taken according to diseases if small or easily cure able then it requires a treatment of one mandala 48 days, if doctor knows that it is not something to cure soon then he can go up to 3 mandalas. If no cure doctor will change the treatment or continues if necessary completely depending on the condition.
In your case you are not in necessity of that medicine so only as immunity and strength booster you are taking you can take for 48 days the stop it because it would have given all that is required for your health during that time itself.
