Hi,
Adult females often present with subtle or masked symptoms (high-functioning autism, inattentive ADHD, camouflaging behaviors), so assessment should include:
• Detailed developmental history (including childhood traits)
• DSM-5-TR based diagnostic evaluation
• Standardized rating scales (e.g., ASRS, AQ, DIVA-5)
• Screening for comorbidities (anxiety, depression, trauma, personality traits)
• Functional impairment assessment (work, relationships, executive function)
A comprehensive assessment typically requires 1–2 structured sessions rather than a single brief consultation.
