One doctor on YouTube channel said that now even if there is a dog bite again within 3 months of taking full course of ARVs (5 doses), still each time there is a re-exposure one has to take 2 boosters, that is even if one has completed a full course 6 days back and again on 7th day there is a fresh dog bite one has to take boosters.
But in vaccine literature of Chirorab or WHO or National guidelines on internet it says if documented evidence within 3 months only wound washing required?
Please advise if booster needed within 3 months?
