I'm M 33, from mumbai, 5'5" 80kg,
I'd like to go for GLP 1 therapy for a lifetime to maintain weight because it's very tough to manage on my own.
My belly size around the belly button is 43inch.
I have had metabolic syndrome since childhood along with rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis.
Currently I'm on folitrax 15mg and folvite 5mg.
In 2016 I had double mastectomy surgery because of gynecomastia so yeah I always had imbalance and inflammation.
I'd like to manage my overall health using GLP 1 therapy for a lifetime if possible.
It's not about just reducing weight, I managed to lose weight up to 10kg using intermittent fasting but overall I felt weak and greying of hair increased during intermittent fasting. It's the major reason I believe I need GLP 1 therapy so I can manage my overall health without resorting to intermittent fasting.

Cost of GLP 1 depends on compound and the company and dose needed, varies from 2000+30000 per month
Also needs prior checkup to rule out thyroid nodules ,Gall stone and pancreatitis.
Since you are on DMARD.. you can continue both but keep a watch on bowel symptoms and avoid dehydration.
Your profile - central obesity with 43 inch waist, metabolic syndrome since childhood, RA and psoriatic arthritis - is exactly where GLP-1 therapy helps, and it is safer for you than repeated aggressive fasting which is what caused your weakness. Cost depends on which molecule you get (weekly semaglutide vs oral vs tirzepatide) and the dose you settle on, so it is not a single fixed monthly figure - it rises as the dose is titrated up. Before starting I would want thyroid, HbA1c, lipids, LFT, KFT, B12 and a check for pancreatitis or gallstone history, plus your arthritis medicines reviewed. Lifelong use is possible but needs monitoring, not self-prescription.
Next Steps
Get baseline labs (HbA1c, thyroid, lipids, LFT, KFT, B12) and then start GLP-1 only under supervision with slow dose titration - stop the crash fasting. You can book a consult with me on Practo and I will plan the molecule, dose schedule and monitoring around your arthritis medicines.
