Gentle Massage = Gently massage the eyelid toward the edge after a warm compression to
help clear the blockage.
Do Not Squeeze
Medical Intervention= minor incision and surgical drainage ( incision and Curettage )
Hot water fomentation with boric powder two times.
Tab zerodol sp three times a day after food for 3to5 days.
Azee500 one per day after food for 3to5 days.
Montek lc one at night for 3 days.
A painless, non-tender small lump sitting on the eyelid for a month is usually a chalazion - a blocked oil gland - or a small cyst or milium. Since it is not painful or spreading, it is not an infection, so antibiotic tubes do very little for it. What actually works is warm compress: a clean cloth dipped in warm water held on the lid for 10 minutes, three to four times a day, with gentle massage towards the lid margin, plus daily lid hygiene. Many resolve in 4-6 weeks. If it is not shrinking, an eye surgeon can remove it with a small in-clinic procedure.
Next Steps
Start warm compresses and lid hygiene for 3-4 weeks and do not squeeze or prick it. Show an ophthalmologist if it grows, turns red and painful, bleeds, ulcerates, or starts pulling the eyelid or blurring vision - those need a proper look and sometimes a biopsy. You can also book a consult with me on Practo and share a clearer close-up photo.
