Pus may be due to poor gum health...it may be due to infection in the teeth that spreads apically and cause gum infection at to root apex or may be periodontal problem which causes pus formation

You can use dental floss or interdental brushes for cleaning any food lodgement.when you press your gums gently if there is any pus coming, there is a problem with your gum health and you will need a thorough check up and treatment .As there are many factors to examine ur oral cavity in-person Pls visit nearby dentist for proper oral hygiene instructions n to restore ur gums health .
